The THUNDER project was proud to participate in Enlit Europe as part of the 2cool2waste project cluster in the EU Project Zone. Project coordinators Matteo Porta and Valentina Baruzzi represented THUNDER alongside sister projects SUSHEAT, SEEDS EU, RE-WITCH, and SENERGY NETS, highlighting the collective efforts to advance sustainable heating and cooling solutions across Europe.
As part of the event, the cluster hosted a joint session presenting innovative technologies and approaches that are shaping the future of sustainable heating and cooling. The session emphasised the crucial role of waste heat recovery in creating a greener, more resilient European energy system and showcased the cutting-edge solutions being developed across the participating EU-funded projects.
Enlit Europe also provided an excellent platform for networking and knowledge exchange. Engaging discussions with industry experts, researchers, and stakeholders, along with the opportunity to establish new connections, reinforced the importance of collaboration in accelerating Europe’s clean energy transition and bringing innovative solutions closer to deployment.
